There are loads of bats hanging around in Timber Creek - the cause of the droppings everywhere (including on our caravan) and its bad smell. But they have a station where you can wash your caravan for free before leaving. We love seeing the bats fly off in the evening; seeing them everywhere is amazing!
We had delicious pancakes for breakfast in the camp kitchen.
We went for a walk in an abandoned campground to find a small pool at the end. We went parallel to the river.
When we got to the end we found the small pool and we all enjoyed swimming in it (as it was scorching)!
We then went on an unmaintained walk with the spinifex growing over the hard-to-see path!
It had beautiful views, though.
